Carnifex Torso Completed

The torso for the carnifex was painted with the exact same steps as the leg portion. I added a few designs to the carapace with the light red outlining the many vents and indentations.

Final Details of the Carnifex Legs

The last part of the legs of the carnifex was to highlight the hooves and carapace with light red to really bring out the shape and texture.

Layering The Carnifex

Next up was to start the layer stage of the carnifex legs. This includes a dark red on the carapace as well as using a bone colored paint to highlight the previously inked skin and bone to further add texture. This step also included inking the red carapace and hooves with a dark red ink to add more detail and definition.

Continuing Tyranid Carnifex Legs Portion

The next step of the carnifex legs was to ink the bone and skin with a brown ink to give them some definition.

Starting Tyranid Carnifex

My current project is the Tyranid Carnifex. I'll be doing this miniature piece by piece, legs, then body, head, etc. Starting with a grey primer I proceeded to base coat the bone and skin with white then black on the carapace and hooves.

Chaos Nurgle Lords Back

Here is a picture of my Nurgle Chaos Lords back.

First Post

This is my first attempt at a blog and its going to be about my hobby of painting miniatures. The first post is a picture of a Chaos Nurgle Lord I recently finished. He is one of the best I have painted so far.
